Dempsey has cancer but is still getting around. Today he sat on the couch and watched football with me. Let’s see how 2026 does for him.

The year is almost done, what busy time from Thanksgiving to Christmas, wish it wasn’t that way just like I wish I had taken more photographs this year. We will see what 2026 holds for that….

Our trip to the Smokies in October
Our second trip of the year to the Smokies and the colors we close to perfect in parts of the park. Even with the government shutdown, Friends of the Smokies was keeping the park open with their funds.
It was a great trip and even though we saw no bears this trip the colors made up for their shyness.

Jack’s Dog Quilt
Gerri created a quilt of dogs for Jack. The two in the middle of the quilt is our dogs Dempsey (a Brittany) and Jonah (a Havanese). Teh project took a lot of work but turned out great.

Jonah our havanese loves his toys. This one is one of his favorites and he was ready to run off with it if I tried to take it.

I have finished scanning and post processing my Mamiya C330 images from the Smokey Mountains that were shot on Ilford HP5.
